Home Security - The Wireless Way to Lock Your Front Door

It's one of the stand outs I discovered at the International Builders' Show in Las Vegas. It's called the Schlage LiNK™. It is a home management security system that allows wireless keypad locks to be integrated throughout your home security system.

The Schlage LiNK System is currently available in more than 5,000 retail outlets nationwide, includes a wireless lock or deadbolt and is built around Z-Wave^® technology, enabling homeowners to lock and unlock doors, monitor live camera feeds, and control temperature, lighting and other Z-Wave-enabled devices from any computer and most Web-enabled mobile phones, including Apple’s iPhone and RIM’s BlackBerry smartphones.

Consumers seeking a security system that works with Schlage’s wireless locks will be able to use the Alarm.com platform, which integrates professional security monitoring services provided by third party central stations with Alarm.com’s easy-to-use Web and mobile security and monitoring tools.
Interactive home security and monitoring systems that incorporate Schlage wireless locks will be available later this year through Alarm.com’s nationwide network of licensed security dealers.
