From Cars To Your Home - Chameleon Paint

Curious about the next hot color trends for your home? Just keep an eye on the cars ahead of you! The home design world takes many color trend cues from the automotive industry.  And now, what we see on collectible cars may be the next "it".

Chameleon paint! This is that paint we see on snazzy cars with a wide range of colors that change based on where you stand.

The paint maker, Sherwin Williams, which already created a paint finish for Robby Gordon's NASCAR Stock Car, as well as non-automotive purposes, is now taking that paint technology to a new level. Their thinking is to change the color of the car ( or eventually your room?) based on the temperature.

So watch for Chameleon colors and paint technology to wow us more in the next year. And you just may be one of the first on your block with room colors that also change!

Paint makers are even getting requests to make laptops with an automotive paint coating with that extra scratch resistance, depth and gloss.
