Gas Safety in an Earthquake

 

When you think of a MAJOR earthquake, it’s not just buildings shaking and possibly collapsing....but you can’t help but think of possible FIRES----

What do earthquakes mean to the folks who monitor our natural gas lines?

Vice President of field services for So Cal Gas. – Bret Lane talks about how the gas lines are inspected, and tested to stay strong in the ongoing seismic activity.  He also talks about what you should do at home with your gas meter, and your appliances.
