Predicting Earthquakes and No Fear

Dr. Lucy Jones is the face and voice of calm whenever an earthquake hits. As the Seismologist with the US Geological Survey , and visiting research associate at CAL TECH Dr. Jones talks about this “Wall to Wall” quake in the news, and why she and her family continue to keep roots in Los Angeles, in spite of all she knows about the San Andreas Fault and Earthquakes.   One tip she suggests is if your home was built before 1990, to have your home checked for seismic safety. It may cost no more than $500 and be well worth it.
