Dangerous Citrus Bug & Citrus Care

It’s a dangerous Citrus Bug that can carry a fatal disease known as the Asian Citrus Psyllid – and it has already devastated Florida’s Citrus crops. Now the bug, has been found in several areas of California, including Van Nuys--but luckily no signs of the disease yet! It can pop up 5 to 7 years later~! How can homeowners and gardeners track this bug and make sure this deadly disease doesn’t get the best of Oranges, Lemons, Grapefruit and Limes.

Lance Walheim, a great garden guru, author of more than 30 books and contributor to Sunset Magazine and their Western Garden Book talks about what to look for on your Citrus trees, and how to keep other bugs, diseases and challenges from robbing your fruit from the best health and taste you expect.
