A Livable Living Room – Pasadena Showcase House
It’s called the “Drawing Room” not for sketching so much as to Draw people to the room – a Living Room in our today terms. Designer Josh Cain with Saxony Design Build, talks about how he made a huge room cozy, bright and eclectic, with a palette that builds off orange colored wood paneling he couldn’t for historic reasons in this Cravens Estate, this year’s Pasadena Showcase House. The good news is, Josh says when we are up against elements in our home that we can’t remove, work around it and your attitude may change!
Josh reveals how he came up with his color palette mixes multiple periods and styles of furniture and infuses the space with the right amount of sentimental touches to make a great living room!
