Latest Earthquake Science & Your Safety

Mark Benthien has always been fascinated by Earthquakes, starting out as a teenager. He later studied and got a degree in Earthquake Science and now works with the leading Scientists all over the world, at the Southern California Earthquake Center, on the USC campus, who are monitoring the next Earthquakes and predicting how our buildings, and communities will respond. It is based on that science that the BEST way to wait out an Earthquake is this, Drop, Cover and Hold On!  So much for what I grew up with, standing in the doorway, the metal frame of a sliding glass door with my mom. It seemed to work in then, but we know more now.
