September Garden To Do’s

 

September is the month for getting your garden ready for more edibles and more flowers to last you for the next 6 months or so!  It’s time to think one last try at tomatoes, plus seeds for a number of other veggies.  And don’t forget to buy bulbs for end of the year blooms.  Yvonne Savio, Southern California Horticulturist of the year, and Common Ground Garden Program Manager for UC Cooperative Extension LA County, shares her secrets to overcoming soil and water challenges, and more.
