If you’ve been planning on making some changes to your kitchen, one trend to keep in mind is what’s called GenShift, or the age of ease and aging in place.  As baby boomers get older it’s a part of design that consumers want.  But it’s about feeling comfortable, accommodating multiple generations in your kitchen and home, but also upgrading that heart  of the home so you can enjoy it now. Kitchen and Bath Designer and President of the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) Dave Alderman, talks about other trends we’ll see for Kitchens and Baths in 2011, as well as budget price points.
