Sasaki – Heart Art
His name is SASAKI and he is an artist with heart. He creates works of art on canvas based on the rhythm of the heartbeat. He does this by hooking up a heart monitor to people who want to participate and then Sasaki’s paint brush follows the beat.

Mark Benthien has always been fascinated by Earthquakes, starting out as a teenager. He later studied and got a degree in Earthquake Science and now works with the leading Scientists all over the world, at the Southern California Earthquake Center, on the USC campus, who are monitoring the next Earthquakes and predicting how our buildings, and communities will respond.
Which homes are better than others, safer than others, when the next big Earthquake hits? It’s up to the Los Angeles Building and Safety Code Department to analyze Earthquakes, research, investigate, and implement codes to make sure our homes and buildings where we work can withstand a major earthquake.
